This past week had been rough for Alcuin just in terms of his jumble of emotions and all the big decisions he felt like he was making. He'd reconciled with Hannibal and things had done so well... even the way Hannibal had handled the situation with Nyx had been so respectful and suggested a real shift in their relationship. Maybe things were back to good with them? Though at the same time, Alcuin was interviewing for a job at WSS and hadn't said a word to Hannibal about it. And he also kept thinking about Aaron.

He couldn't do this for much longer, caught in this utter indecisiveness. He also continued to feel so guilty thinking about Aaron, and how he must be stringing him along. Aaron deserved to be free of him. Maybe he and Kersen could ride off into the sunset together. Well. After sunset.

So when he asked Aaron if he could come over, he did so with the intention of breaking things off with him. Setting him free. He knocked on the door.

"... you really don't want to stay, do you?" Aaron said, reluctantly.

[alcuin]

"No, I do, that's the problem!" Alcuin groaned.

[quitollis]

God, he wanted to get up and kiss him, to rid him of the thoughts he was having. But that would be terribly unfair of him. "I'm not going to tell you to leave. I'm sorry if that doesn't make things easier for you."

[alcuin]

It wasn't helpful that Alcuin could hear clear as day how much Aaron wanted to kiss him.

He seriously had no willpower.

He got up for his spot and climbed on top of Aaron, sliding both hands into his hair and kissing him fiercely.

Still felt good. Still felt so damned good. Aaron held his hips lightly and kissed him back, with passion. He didn't dare speak for breaking the spell.

"Fuck me," Alcuin breathed against his lips.

Aaron breathed a sigh of relief. God, yes. Thoughts aside... it just felt incredible with Alcuin.

"Yes," he said and got up, lifting Alcuin with him so they could move to the bed.

[alcuin]

Alcuin wrapped his arms and legs around him and kept kissing him as Aaron carried him to the bed.

It wasn't that he was in a rush, but there was a wildness to Aaron's approach tonight. Perhaps because it felt like it might be the last time they were together. Perhaps because he wanted Alcuin to know how much he wanted him.

But there was definite wild passion when he turned Alcuin over, lifted him on his hands and knees and pushed inside once more, hard, while one hand went into his hair and pulled, bracing himself and he pushed in deep. Mine.

Alcuin cried out sharply in pure pleasure, pushing back against him, and maybe it was the shout that muffled the sound of quick, insistent knocking on the door of the chapel. Alcuin did hear it after a moment, but he really didn't care in the least - it could wait.

But then the door opened (apparently they hadn't locked it when Alcuin came in), and suddenly Kersen was standing there, an expression of fear and worry on his face immediately morphing into shock and then embarrassment in quick succession.

His gaze lingered on them for perhaps a little too long, the way Alcuin's neck was bared, his eyes on the vein that arched his throat.

Then he was quickly turning his back to them - "Oh fuck, oh my god I am so sorry."

Aaron pulled out instantly - shocked and quite horrified. He quickly managed to wrap a blanket over himself, while leaving enough for Alcuin to wrap himself as well.

"Kersen!" he shouted, his voice hoarse still with lust.

He had no idea what to do. He usually was a 'fight' sort of person, but right now he was very clearly frozen.

Alcuin for his part was surprised, but slightly less horrified, in part because he could tell that - whatever the reason - Kersen's intrusion was an accident. And also he wasn't particularly embarrassed by sex. He allowed Aaron most of the blanket, settling into a sitting position with a small amount of it in his lap. (He did think that Aaron's covering himself was pretty funny, as it wasn't as if Kersen hadn't seen him naked before.)

Kersen kept his back to them though, so it didn't really matter. "I - I heard two vampires in the bar talking about how their hive had captured a priest. I thought he fit your description and you weren't answering your phone, so I - the door was unlocked."

Naked, yes. Naked and hard because of another man, no. There was a difference in Aaron's mind. Also, Kersen's embarrassment rubbed off. "Thank you," Aaron said, even in this state touched that Kersen worried for him. "I'm sorry. I er... forgot to lock the door."

[alcuin]

It was sweet, Alcuin thought, Kersen's concern. He really wished he could read the vampires mind. But all he was getting was Aaron's embarrassment.

Alcuin climbed off of the bed and pulled on his underwear and trousers as Kersen said, "Anyway, I can see you're fine, I'll just be going - "

"Kersen, stay," Alcuin said, not waiting for Aaron. "It was kind of you to come. And I think we all deserve a glass of wine."

Had it not been for the terrible embarrassment Aaron felt, this would have been the start of a wet dream: the two people he most cared for, in one room... Well, best not think about that right now.

He quickly pulled on his trousers as well and pushed away his embarrassment. "I'm sure some wine will help... lighten the situation," he agreed.

[alcuin]

Kersen finally turned around, and sighed deeply when he saw them dressing. "I truly am sorry for interrupting, you really could just..." What? Get back to it? But there was no denying the mood had been spoiled at this point.

"Nonsense," Alcuin said. He didn't bother with shirt, just went over to where he knew Aaron kept the wine, and pulled out a bottle of red. "Besides, what if Aaron had been captured by vampires? This would all be rather heroic of you. You certainly couldn't have known that all he'd captured was me."

Alcuin did, of course, hear Aaron's thoughts. He should probably pretend he hadn't. But mostly what he was thinking was how much Hannibal would hate this.

[quitollis]

Aaron nodded. "Thank you, the timing was unfortunate, but the gesture very kind." He smiled, meaning it.

"Though, er... Probably the most imminent threat right now, is Lecter," he noted. "But I do believe we can rely on your discretion?" He knew he could, but it had to be said. Just in case.

[kersen]

At this reminder, Alcuin looked a touch embarrassed. Perhaps guilty. But he said nothing.

“I will certainly not be mentioning this to Hannibal, no,” Kersen said, glancing at Alcuin.

Alcuin had retrieved wine glasses, and poured generously.

[quitollis]

The guilty look was plain and served as a reminder that whatever he might wish for Alcuin, Alcuin was still very much in love with Hannibal and would not leave him. He'd told himself that didn't matter, but he couldn't help feeling conflicted still.

He accepted the wine gladly. "The two people whose company I most enjoy and I'm... completely lost for words," he toasted before taking a sip. "And it's a challenge to silence a priest."

[alcuin]

Yeah hearing Aaron’s thoughts was not helping with the guilt. Alcuin picked up the most full glass of wine.

Kersen meanwhile was rather wishing Alcuin would put his shirt back on. He smelled amazing. “I’m afraid if I start talking I’ll be apologizing again he said.”

Alcuin was thinking now how ironic it was that Aaron and Hannibal had such similar taste but he didn’t say that. He put a hand lightly on Kersen’s arm. “I promise you that we’re perfectly fine. I for one am not particularly shy. Nothing to be embarrassed about.”

[quitollis]

Aaron was trying very hard to keep his mind out of the gutter, which was quite hard considering he had been having sex five minutes ago and was still feeling that very much. And it was even harder when Alcuin put his hand on Kersen.

"No need to apologize at all," Aaron agreed. "I mean, I do feel like I've been caught cheating, on... multiple levels. I just... hope no in this room is upset."

[alcuin]

“I don’t think so,” Alcuin said. He looked at Kersen. “You didn’t look upset, just embarrassed.”

“Accurate,” Kersen admitted with a little smile.

“And a little aroused,” Alcuin said nonchalantly. “Which is perfectly natural. I would have reacted just the same. Though probably would not have turned my back so quickly.”

[quitollis]

Aaron chuckled despite himself. "Oh, sorry..." He said, suddenly nervous. Alcuin could read his mind and this sight was hot.

[alcuin]

If Alcuin didn’t know exactly what Aaron was thinking he’d have handled this differently, but as it was…

“You keep looking at my throat,” he said softly, to Kersen. “Hungry?”

Kersen opened his mouth, then closed it again. “I ah, already feel like I’m intruding.” He glanced at Aaron. Was he okay with how this was going? It seemed very… advanced.

"Alcuin... you don't have to do that," Aaron said, gently. He suspected thd young man had heard his thoughts. "If you're just doing it for me."
