Hannibal
Alcuin came back fairly late after his night with Aaron. He hadn't known it would go so well right away - from the bar to Aaron's place to the good possibility of seeing him again. But he'd also been a bit relieved to have something to do that evening since Hannibal had been quite occupied with fucking a vampire in the library when Alcuin had gone to tell him about having a lead on Aaron's location.
When he got back to his room, he was surprised to find Hannibal asleep on his bed. In his clothes, as if he'd fallen asleep unintentionally. It was getting close to dawn (not that it was dangerous since the windows were all backed out) so he supposed that wasn't odd, except to the extent that Hannibal didn't typically sleep in his room.
He walked over and put a hand lightly on his shoulder to rouse him.

After Kersen left, Hannibal showered and dressed and went in search of Alcuin. He never apologised, but he thought it appropriate to talk to him at least.
Alcui wasn't in his room, so Hannibal decided to wait. Possibly he was more tired than he thought, because he fell asleep and only woke when roused gently by Alcuin. "Ah, you're home," he said pleasantly.

Hannibal hummed. "Well, I thought you might want to talk." They both smelled of someone else, but there was something about Alcuin's scent. "Where have you been tonight?" He asked, simply, without judgement.

Hannibal actually snorted at that. "I thought I smelled incense. A priest?" This was highly amusing to him.
no subject
"The priest," he said. "The one you told me to investigate. That's why I came to find you earlier - to tell you that a bartender had contacted me to tell me that he was there."
no subject
Hannibal arched an eyebrow. "I had not expected him to be inclined to share a bed with you - or anyone. Or did he make an exception for you?'
no subject
Though rather than waiting for Hannibal to reply, he shrugged and said, "But no, I do not think that I was much of an exception. He is not a very good priest."
no subject
"Well done, my love," Hannibal praised. "And he will call on you again?"

Hannibal leaned in slightly and smiled. "Very well done. It will be valuable learning what danger the Church may pose to us."
no subject
He said this somewhat matter-of-factly, but in all honest he did feel a twinge of guilt.
no subject
"Perfect," said Hannibal, with no guilt whatsoever. "You've done an excellent job tonight. I'm proud of you."
no subject
"And what did you do tonight?"
no subject
Hannibal smiled. "I think you saw," he said. "I indulged. I went to meet the Requiem's proprietor, and I found him. His name is Kersen."

"He is," Hannibal replied with a nod. It wasn't the first time Alcuin had known him to have had sex with someone else, but it was the first vampire.
"I trust it's not an issue?"
no subject
"It just looked very, um, intimate. I'd never thought of you with another vampire. What's it like?"
no subject
"There is an understanding of our nature," Hannibal admitted. "Also, vsmpires can take a lot more bloodloss. It makes... indulging easier."

"We bit each other," Hannibal admitted. "Often. It... sates a primal instinct."
"Tell me about the priest. How was he? Very repressed?"

"All that pent up lust..." Hannibal replied, with a little grin.

Hannibal held his hips. "Good. He will be more inclined to talk."

"Affection, yes. Love? I'm not so sure," Hannibal said, lifting his hips slightly to the touch. He said this to get Alcuin even more eager to try.

"Oh, it's a challenge I hope you will accept," Hannibal said. "Make him fall for you."

"I do hope you're not comparing us," Hannibal replied. "I fell for skillful intelligence and how you manage to obtain your goals. I love you for your beauty, and your wits. I think you'll find exactly what he needs and you'll become just that."

Hannibal kissed him back. "I adore you, my love."

"I would love a drink," Hannibal replied and kissed him gently.

Hannibal hummed, pleased. He unsheathed his fangs and bit Alcuin eagerly, drinking slowly and with care.

Fae blood was always so good and Hannibal always drank a little more than he would with anyone else. He moved his hips a little, against Alcuin's ass.

"You always ask," Hannibal said. "Are you concerned?"
no subject
"I don't mean... me in particular, just... blood. What it's like."
no subject
"I've come to enjoy it," Hannibal replied, kissing his neck. "There are benefits beyond nurture, of course. But... as food goes, I do sometimes miss a good meal. Fresh pasta, a perfect steak..."

Where Hannibal had bitten him, it hadn't quite healed yet. He found the wound on his neck, and drew his finger across it, then brought it to his lips to taste the blood.
no subject
Hannibal smiled and kissed him gently. "I would not have chosen to become a vampire. I know how to enjoy the cards I'm dealt, but I would not have wished it."
